Astia - Indigo Area Rug, 11' 5'' x 8' 2''

Astia grew from the smallest of seeds, a scrap of fabric in our archive whose scale was quite tiny. We blew the design up again and agian and again until it was just right. The result is almost geometric but with a softness to the forms that makes it most usable. We then washed it in shades of favourite blues and set the pattern against a clean neutral ground, Voila! A wonderful rug hand tufted in pure wool that will suite any space.
