Lit Irene Bed (including mattress)

This bed refers back to the glorious suites of bedroom furniture that very much 'the thing' in the 1930's. The bed pictured is crafted from chestnut wood with bands of nickel, materials that have visual qualities that set them apart from other woods and metals, the timber is so wonderfully rich in tone and grain, while the metal is less harsh-looking than, steel or chrome and together they make a fine marriage. As with all William Yeoward bespoke furniture the Lit Irene Bed can be crafted in a variety of timbers from oak and  chestnut through to mahogany and walnut.
