Hyme Chest

Under designed can be overdesigned in a minimal environment said William Yeoward when he had finished the sublime Hyme. The Hyme chest which has become one of our Signature pieces at William Yeoward is an all round storage sideboard or cabinet capable of housing most all things needed for dressing a dining table. The slim elegance of the Hyme belies its capacious volume. The slats applied to the front and sides of the sideboard allow it to be viewed from 3 sides. The centre of the cabinet is finished with a generous individually handmade strap of nickel running across the centre of this piece balanced visually by the adjustable feet. Use the Hyme in a passage, on a landing, in a dining room or sitting room it will always look the part. As with all William Yeoward bespoke furniture the Hyme chest can be crafted in a variety of timbers from oak and chestnut through mahogany to walnut.
