Events | Rose Electra Harris - An exhibition of prints and drawings
William has an eye for talent and has always found it incredibly important to encourage and support those with creative talent.
We are thrilled to be exhibiting a collection of Rose's prints and drawings in our Kings Road Store this November. William worked with Rose Electra Harris on a range of digitally printed cushions for Autumn Winter 2018, so some of you may already be aware of her work.
Rose Electra Harris is a London-based artist working predominantly as a printmaker, mostly in etching and screen-printing. She completed her BA hons in Printmaking at Brighton University in 2015. She now works between her studio at home, Slaughterhaus Print Studio in Stockwell and Print Club London in Hackney. In her work she explores the interior, creating dreamlike, surreal and vibrant interpretations of domestic spaces around her. The room is an oasis and the items within it are what bring it to life, Rose imagines the dialogue that exists between space and furnishings or objects - chandeliers, lemon squeezers, chairs or a freestanding bath for instance. She uses decorative motifs, intricate patterns and a vivid palette, to make the everyday important.
Please join us on Thursday 8th November 2018 for the opening night and to meet Rose. Drinks from 18.30 to 20.30.
