WY Colour Stories | Classic Blues
WY Colour Stories | Classic Blues
Part 1
With a love of blue, this was the starting point to this clients room scheme. An open plan living space in existing neutral tones, some colour was needed to bring the room to life. Our Draxon Indigo rug instantly created that pop in colour and texture. New upholstery was required to accommodate all the family, which lead to the Shoreville modular sofa, an inviting, comfortable, yet stylish piece working alongside our Witney Ottoman a practical coffee table with additional seating, upholstered cushion squabs in coordinating colours. Pattern and texture were added through embroidered and plain cushions to tie in with the rug and make the sofa even more inviting for those lazy afternoons and chilled evenings in.
Part 2
Our Classic Blues moodboard pairs up with this next scheme. An open plan living space consisting of two large areas, a Sitting room and Dining room. This Dining room scheme flows on from the Sitting room continuing the clients love of Blue. Our popular Seborga and Alverdia upholstery fabrics had already been used on the clients dining chairs. Additional texture, fabrics, lighting and furniture were needed to make this area a welcoming and comfortable space for entertaining. Flavia Blues at its largest size was used underneath the dining table and chairs, a beautiful combination of wool and recycled denim. The washed acacia continues through with the Bywater Buffet, which makes the ideal piece for storing all your needed tableware and glasses.
